The union representing 750 workers at Mosaic’s potash operations near Esterhazy, Sask., has ratified a new three-year collective agreement that includes pension and benefits gains. The agreement includes an increase from $86.50 to $92.50 to the defined benefit pension plan per month per year of service, as well as an increase to the defined contribution pension plan from 5.75 per cent to 5.9 per cent for employer and employee contribution on base earnings.
