Evelyn Elaine Moody, 79, of rural Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away August 3, 2026 at the White River Health Medical Complex Emergency Department in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. AdvertisementElaine was of the Christian faith and worked a variety of jobs in the Sharp County Sheriff’s office for thirty-three years. She was recognized with a special “Lifesaver Award” by the Arkansas Sheriff’s Association. Survivors include her husband, Albert Mason Moody; her son, Eric; her grandson, Hunter; many other relatives and good friends.
