The platform will assist residents and guests with requests, concerns or complaints for the municipality, director of operations says. Residents across the municipality can now submit service requests through a new platform, designed to streamline responses. There is also a selection available for general inquiries and bylaw issues, which will connect residents with an officer as soon as possible. The platform was launched Aug. 4 to make contacting the municipality more accessible, and puts Sun Peaks in line with other local governments that have similar tools, Clint Burton, director of operations for Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality said. On an organizational level, the platform will support the municipality to manage all the requests and mitigate communication challenges.
