A visit to a hospital in Sheffield left Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) very surprised in Emmerdale today, as she bumped into Dr Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker). Dr Todd left the village shortly after being questioned by DS Reid (Angela Lonsdale) over an allegation of sexual assault. Dr Todd was allowed to head back home due to lack of evidence. Vanessa couldn’t resist confronting Dr Todd about what she did to Charity, and how she fell for her manipulation. We know that the clock is ticking where Doctor Todd is concerned, as a flashforward sequence has confirmed she will be murdered.
