The Marshwood All-Stars baseball team was eliminated from the Cal Ripken 9U World Series with an 8-4 loss to Bonaire in the consolation bracket on Thursday in Florence, Alabama. Marshwood finished 3-3 in the tournament, winning its first two games in pool play and its first game in bracket play. It fell into the consolation bracket with a 3-0 loss to Puerto Rico on Wednesday. He added an RBI single in the top of the fifth when Marshwood scored three runs to pull within 8-4. Ryder Ward added an RBI single and Alexander Harrison walked with the bases loaded.
