Tangipahoa Parish deputies ask for help identifying Ponchatoula burglary suspectsPONCHATOULA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects who broke into a Ponchatoula-area store. According to the sheriff's office, detectives responded to a burglary report at a store in the 21000 block of Highway 22 in the early morning hours of July 21. TPSO said the suspects apparently took multiple items from behind the counter, including cartons of cigarettes. Surveillance video provided by the sheriff's office shows the two individuals wearing jeans and hoodies with face coverings and gloves. Sheriff Gerald Sticker is encouraging anyone with information about the suspects or their whereabouts to contact TPSO's Criminal Investigations Division at 985-902-2088.
