The adjustments include new 11pm departures from Newport city centre on key routes, earlier morning services into Newport and Monmouth, improved Sunday options, and greater links to major employment areas. A Newport Bus spokesman said: "From 30 August we’re making some changes and enhancements to some of our services. An extra morning journey into Newport will be added to the 74A from Glan Llyn, and both the X74 and C1 will gain an additional morning service to Chepstow. For example, the 6.30am route 6 service from Newport city centre will now depart at 6.22am, while the 7.07am service from Newport Retail Park will leave at 6.58am. An extra 9.07am journey from Glan Llyn to Newport will be added to the 74A, and the 7.04am schooldays-only 74/X74 service from Newport to Chepstow will now depart at 6.55am.
