This decision was made at the council meeting on July 29 at Graig Community Hall. The event was proposed by a resident who uses the hall and will be a community event for Graig residents. These include cleaning the outside path around the Rhiwderin Community Centre, CCTV provision at Graig Community Centre, playground and park repairs, and a tidy-up of the planters outside Bassaleg shops. The council also discussed the need for CCTV at Graig Community Centre due to several incidents of anti-social behaviour and car damage in the car park. The next full council meeting is scheduled for August 26, 2026, at 7pm at Graig Community Centre and via Zoom.
