Lionel Messi scored twice, his first goals since the World Cup, as Inter Miami came from behind to beat Atlético San Luis 4-2 in a rain-hit Leagues Cup match on Wednesday night. It did not take Messi long to make an impact against San Luis. Rafa Llorente scored San Luis’ other goal. Messi led Inter Miami to the Leagues Cup title in 2023 shortly after joining the club. He will also miss this year’s Leagues Cup.
