The presidential election will be held on 20 August, according to sources at the Election Commission Secretariat. Senior EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed disclosed the information. Voting will take place from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on 20 August in the Parliament Chamber at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. He further said that the voter list for the presidential election has already been finalised. Following the announcement of the schedule, the EC is taking the necessary administrative and other preparations to ensure the election is conducted smoothly.
