New Forest District Council’s (NFDC) Cabinet approved the Housing Landlord Tenancy Management Strategy on August 5. The new strategy aims to deliver better services through greater tenant engagement, improved digital support, and increased neighbourhood visibility. Councillor Steve Davies, portfolio holder for housing and homelessness, said: "This strategy places tenants at the heart of everything we do. Councillor Davies said the strategy would support tenants through the wider changes affecting local government in the area. "This strategy will help create a strong legacy for council housing services in the district, ensuring that the improvements we make now are sustained through the transition to future unitary councils and beyond."
