On the morning of Wednesday July 29, a woman was approached and bitten by a brown and white Spaniel- type dog. The incident, which took place on the path between Whitecliff Road and Baiter Park, saw the woman aged in her 30s sustain a bite that went through her trousers, breaking her skin. It is understood that the dog was with a woman, who has been described as in her 60s, white, of a slim build and an average height.
