A Cumberland County man is facing felony charges following a domestic incident early Tuesday morning, August 4, 2026. According to an arrest warrant filed by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Caleb Charles responded to a reported physical domestic disturbance at Crestview Loop at approximately 3:48 a.m. Officers also spoke with Walter Barley Jr., who had a bite mark on his arm. Walter Barley Jr. was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Intake for booking. He is scheduled to appear in the Cumberland County Circuit/Criminal Court on August 10, 2026, to face a charge of Aggravated Assault (Domestic Related), a Class C felony under Tennessee law.
