According to the survey, men accounted for 1,950,415 people, or 64.6% of the labor force, while women represented 1,068,358 people, or 35.4%.
The largest labor force was recorded in the Khatlon region with more than one million people, followed by the Sughd region with 1,077,647 people.
According to Trend's analysis, Tajikistan's labor force continues to expand alongside the country's population growth, with economically active citizens concentrated in the country's largest agricultural regions.
Expanding vocational training, encouraging private sector investment, and improving labor market efficiency could further enhance employment prospects and strengthen Tajikistan's economic resilience in the coming years.
