LAHORE, Aug 06 (APP): The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday dismissed a petition seeking the postponement of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) scheduled for August 16. He contended that holding the entrance test on the scheduled date would jeopardise the academic future of hundreds of aspiring medical students. During the hearing, the court asked whether the students would be ineligible to sit the MDCAT examination. The petitioner’s lawyer further informed the court that hundreds of students were gathered outside the courtroom in support of the plea. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court dismissed the petition seeking postponement of the MDCAT examination.
