Comcast said it has finished work at all addresses assigned to the company through the county’s Broadband Gap project. The project aims to make wired service, including fiber or coaxial networks, available to every home and business in the county. An address is considered served once wired broadband is available, whether or not the resident subscribes. The projects show how the county’s broadband buildout has advanced provider by provider and road by road. Comcast’s completed work brings Washtenaw County closer to its goal, but wired high-speed service is not yet available at every address.
