Image Credit: KCCNorway’s Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) has taken delivery of its new wind-assisted combination carrier from New Yangzi Shipyard in China. The vessel, MV Baltazar, is the first in KCC's fleet to use wind-assisted propulsion, the firm said in an emailed statement today. MV Baltazar is the third and final vessel in KCC's CABU III newbuilding programme, following sister ships MV Balder and MV Bastion. The delivery brings KCC's fleet to 19 combination carriers.
