Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has dismissed Aam Aadmi Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal’s claim that the government plans to blend ethanol with aviation turbine fuel (ATF).
“The claim that the Government plans to blend ethanol with Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) is completely false and irresponsible.
Ethanol and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) are entirely different and should not be conflated.
“Sources indicate that Modi govt plans to mix ethanol in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).
The amendment has been issued as an administrative measure to bring Aviation Turbine Fuel blended with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) under the ambit of the ATF Control Order.
