GREEN RIVER — Construction on Indian Hills Drive will start next week according to the City of Green River and residents in the area are invited to a public meeting explaining the project. The work is the first phase of a larger project and will start with the installation of a water main on Shoshone Avenue and will continue up to Indian Hills Drive. The water main work will continue as long as weather allows. The city plans to move equipment, materials and traffic control signs starting Aug. 10, with temporary water main installation beginning Aug. 17. On Sept. 1, installation of the water main begins, with temporary traffic disruptions expected until the water main trench is backfilled and compacted.
