A woman that fell into the Pentland Firth at Dunnet Head in Caithness, has been “recovered from water”, coastguard have confirmed. Emergency services rushed to the north coast after reports that a woman had fallen into the water at the beauty spot. HM Coastguard told The Press and Journal that the woman was “recovered from the water earlier today”. They added: “Thurso all weather lifeboat, a coastguard helicopter, Thurso, Duncansby and Wick coastguard rescue teams all attended the incident.” Please check back later for more and follow The Press and Journal on Facebook for breaking news.
