The New York Police Department (NYPD), together with city officials in the 104th Precinct, held its annual National Night Out Against Crime in Juniper Valley Park on Tuesday, Aug. 4, drawing several hundred participants. Jon Kablack, president of the precinct’s Community Council, has organized the neighborhood’s National Night Out for the past six years. Addabbo, who has participated in National Night Out events across Queens for decades and has long supported the NYPD and its members, said the campaign is an effective way to honor officers. “National Night Out is an important chance to recognize and thank the dedicated police officers who work tirelessly to keep our neighborhoods safe,” Addabbo said. Rog additionally presented the 104th Precinct with a Proclamation from the Office of Zohran Kwame Mamdani.
