Russian troops attacked the Ukrposhta sorting depot and the base of the company’s mobile branches in Pavlohrad (Dnipropetrovsk region), killing two employees and wounding a mechanic, CEO of the national postal operator Ihor Smiliansky said.
"This depot served Pavlohrad and all the surrounding villages in the district.
The enemy wanted to stop our operations here, but we won’t let that happen," he said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
"If there are minor delays in the first few days while we fine-tune our processes, we apologize and thank you for your understanding," the company’s CEO said.
As noted by Ukrposhta, customers will be reimbursed for everything that was destroyed during the enemy attack.
