Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the person responsible will be dismissed due to an inadequate response to the water supply problem in Marhanets and other cities in Dnipropetrovsk region. The disgraceful situation was caused by the lack of water there and a very slow response at the regional level – from the agencies responsible for water supply. The person responsible will be dismissed," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Thursday. As previously reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky ordered urgent measures to accelerate repairs to the main water pipeline in order to ensure a water supply for residents of Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk region. This is the result of an accident on the main water pipeline, as well as an incomplete and untimely response from the responsible officials.
