A 29-year-old woman recently told Reddit that she learned her home had been offered to someone else for the weekend.
Since they hadn’t decided whether to sell it, she moved in about a year ago and began paying them rent.
Their mother said the timing was poor, because her daughter’s boyfriend was flying in that weekend, and told him to call his sister directly.
Now she has to pay $1,500 to stay in her homeAt some point their mother told the brother what his sister was paying.
“Tell your parents that the increase in rent makes it their responsibility to care for the acreage,” one user replied.
