The Obie Award-winning playwright will appear in this world premiere at the Public Theater. The Public Theater has announced full casting for the world premiere of Ryan J. Haddad’s Good Time Charlie, which is set to begin preview performances September 24 at the Public’s Martinson Hall ahead of an official opening night October 9. But Uncle Charlie channels his passion for the arts into his nephew Ryan, in whom he recognizes a kindred spirit. He is joined by an ensemble cast including Sherz Aletaha (Understudy), Timothy Bagley (Lou), Nicholas Barrón (Understudy), Michael Cristofer (Sheldon), Beth Malone (Janice), Nael Nacer (Charlie Sr./Bob), Artemis Pebdani (Joan/Judy), Jonathan Raviv (Charlie), and Doug Shapiro (Understudy). Katie Ailinger will be the production stage manager and Rico Froehlich will be the stage manager.
