06.08.2026 21:31During a Russian missile and drone attack in the Black Sea, the German dry cargo ship Emil sustained significant damage, while in Ukraine, a Puma warehouse was damaged and the central warehouse of the German automotive chemicals manufacturer Liqui Moly was destroyed. The German bulk carrier Emil was struck by several Russian drones in the Black Sea near Odesa. This caused several technical systems to fail, rendering the ship unable to maneuver, and a fire broke out on board. It is added that the second vessel affected that day was the dry cargo ship Mera Queen, carrying grain and flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau. On the same day, a warehouse belonging to the German company Liqui Moly was destroyed in Kyiv.
