FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Traffic Advisory for the Week of 8/10/2026 to 8/14/2026 EASTERN KERN, INYO, and MONO COUNTIES – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the following project work and traffic impacts for the week of August 10 – August 14. Work schedules are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues. · Sawmill Tree Work – On State Route 203 from Sawmill Road to Sawmill Cutoff Road, crews will continue to trim trees Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The Manzanar Pavement Project received $44.64 million and the Bishop Pavement Project received $18.36 million from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA) – also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The Manzanar Pavement Project received $5.78 million, the Bishop Pavement Project received $2.4 million, and the Rock Creek Pavement Project received $2.1 million from Senate Bill (SB) 1.
