Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...Law enforcement, firefighters and rescue officials joined Saturday, Aug. 1, for Farmville Police Department’s annual First Responder Day at Prince Edward Middle School. Inaddition to the chance to meet with first responders, students received free backpacks with supplies to get their school year started. The items were collected as part of the Sirens for Supplies initiative. Those attending also had the chance to explore emergency vehicles and equipment and enjoy other fun activities.
