The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cornerstone Caregiving, located in Plaza West Center Mall on Thompson Boulevard, on Tuesday. She noted that she is looking to hire employees and locate clients for Cornerstone. “We’re an in-home caregiving service locally here in Sedalia,” she explained, adding that Cornerstone became a Chamber member as soon as they opened their doors on July 6. Thompson-Smith noted that Cornerstone is based in Waco, Texas and that the company was formed in 2020.
