In 12 years, Culworth Ground Farms has become an established name on the sales circuit, a consistent producer of stakes horses, and one of Britain's newest stallion studs. Sophie Buckley, who runs the equine side of the Oxfordshire farm she owns with her husband Charles, joins Emma Berry for this latest episode of TDN Conversations to discuss how her background in showing gave her a headstart in pinhooking along with all facets of her busy breeding, consigning and pre-training business. Ahead of the 2024 covering season, Culworth Grounds welcomed its first stallion, El Caballo, who has his first yearlings at the forthcoming sales in Europe. The hunt is now on for a new stallion to join him at this burgeoning operation.
