Group winner Kon Tiki has been pencilled in for the G3 Atalanta Stakes on August 29, according to trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam. If that mission goes well, then October's G1 Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket joins the equation. Chapple-Hyam, who won the Sun Chariot with Saffron Beach (New Bay), said, “She's come out of Ascot really well and we're going to aim her at the Atalanta Stakes at Sandown on August 29. “The ultimate after that would be the Sun Chariot, so Sandown will keep her fit and keep her ticking over. Chapple-Hyam added, “After Newmarket you could maybe think about a Breeders' Cup, but you would have to be going close in a Sun Chariot for that.
