The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned domestic cricketer Hamza Nazar from all domestic and international cricket for two years.
The action follows a PCB inquiry into the information Hamza Nazar submitted while applying for a visa through the board.
Hamza Nazar was given an opportunity to explain his position and respond to the allegations during the proceedings.
Following a detailed review of the committee’s report, the PCB banned Hamza Nazar from all forms of domestic and international cricket for two years and imposed a fine of PKR 1 million.
The board also said it will not allow anyone to damage the reputation of the PCB, Pakistan cricket, or the millions of fans who support and cherish the game.
