The Secretary of the Commonwealth has announced an audit of the voter rolls has been completed and over 300,000 names have been moved to inactive. Voters can be moved to active to inactive for a number of reasons including, death or moving out of the state. The final numbers for the most recent audit saw 384,000 voters moved from active to inactive. Inactive voters’ registration is not canceled, they can update their record to move back into active.
