Knockroon Dental Practice has introduced a new Failed to Attend and Short Notice Cancellation Policy after losing 16 hours of service in July alone. Failing to attend a scheduled appointment will result in a fee to be paid when rebooking. Patients will be charged £15 per person not attending dental checkups or up to the full cost of the more complex dental treatments. On top of this, Knockroon Dental Practice says it reserves the right to refuse patients further appointments due to continual cancellations, short notice cancellations and failing to attend. The patient will then be deregistered from the practice and no longer registered under the care of the dentists contracted within.
