Jane McDonald, who lives at Weston View, revisited the city's famous Beach Ballroom after telling wellbeing coordinator Gill Ingram about the special memories the landmark held of her late husband, Bill.
Jane first met Bill – a Nairn native who was working in Aberdeen at the time – at the ballroom in the late 1940s.
Jane and Bill on their wedding dayGill added: "Jane told me how much the Beach Ballroom meant to her and how she would love to see it again.
“I'd like to thank the wonderful team at the Beach Ballroom for giving Jane such a warm welcome and helping create such a memorable day."
The trip is part of an ongoing effort by the Weston View wellbeing team to fulfil personal wishes for residents, giving them the chance to reconnect with meaningful places from their past.
