Plans to redevelop a long-vacant site in Elgin have been resubmitted with a series of fresh amendments just days after being withdrawn. The proposals by Macduff-based entrepreneur Shajahat Ali to develop land at Riverside Road, behind Costa Coffee and KFC near the A96, had been formally withdrawn on July 29. 4 Riverside Road, Elgin. However, amended plans have now been put back before Moray Council to address previous road safety and parking objections. The proposed cycle store has been moved so it is accessed directly from the cycle path, keeping cyclists entirely separate from vehicles.
