Leaked publisher documents tied to Project Helix, first reported by The Verge, outline a long-term strategy to bring games from every Xbox generation into a single ecosystem. It also suggests backward compatibility is becoming a core part of Microsoft's next-generation Xbox strategy rather than a standalone feature. The leak comes just days after Microsoft expanded Xbox backward compatibility to Windows. Four original Xbox games, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live & Reloaded, and Fuzion Frenzy, are now available through the Xbox app. They can even be played on Windows handhelds, including the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X.
