The deal, led by a consortium that includes Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), closed on Aug 4, 2026, after receiving all required regulatory approvals. EA reported $1.98B in net revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 19% year-over-year (YoY), while operating income jumped 89% to $513M. Revenue from live services increased 7% to $1.47B, helped by player spending in Battlefield 6 and EA Sports FC. Net bookings also rose 4% to $1.39B, supported by Apex Legends, EA Sports FC, Madden NFL, and EA Sports College Football.
