The second-gen headphones retain the price, rich audio, comfort, and noise-cancellation of the original 2023 model while packing in spatial or immersive audio and lossless playback via USB-C in a redesigned chassis. With Bose’s TrueSpatial technology, the new QuietComfort Headphones get three immersive modes: Still, Motion, and Cinema. Another feature the QC Headphones borrow from their flagship sibling is lossless audio over USB-C, with support for up to 24-bit/48kHz audio. Despite the new features, the QuietComfort Headphones retain the predecessor’s 24-hour battery life, with a full charge taking up to three hours. The second-gen Bose QuietComfort Headphones will be available for preorder on Bose’s website and at select retailers starting Aug. 8.
