Sunday’s nationally televised matchup between the Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx averaged 2.5 million viewers on ABC, making it the second most-watched regular-season WNBA game ever televised by ESPN. For the Indiana Fever, those television numbers reflect much more than simple ratings. ESPN has already scheduled additional Fever appearances later this week, including another nationally televised matchup against the Chicago Sky. And right now, no team is generating more attention than the Indiana Fever.
