Incidents involving cyclists accounted for almost 10pc (9.51pc) of all road casualties in Norfolk in 2024, higher than the national average of 8.13pc. The study recorded a total of 2,154 road casualties in Norfolk, with 205 involving cyclists. Norfolk ranked third out of six East of England counties. Norfolk ranked third out of six East of England counties, the region which recorded the highest average in the country. In total, 4,354 of the 53,530 road casualties recorded across all 37 counties involved cyclists.
