The Volt Quads VQ is being touted as a quieter, cost-effective alternative for landowners and national park workers.
Designed to meet the needs of landowners, the Telford-built ATV offers lower running costs while promising the same power as a petrol model.
Volt Quads says the VQ’s charging costs are around 85% lower than petrol quad bikes (Image: Volt Quads)Charles Anderson, chairman of Volt Quads, said: "We have created a new way for landowners to work their estates with UK-made technology.
The bike was developed based on the experience of its designer, Fred Chugg, who has run quad bikes for decades on his 15th-century farm in Exmoor.
Volt Quads describes the vehicle as the UK’s only domestically designed and manufactured premium electric ATV, with production based in Telford and testing carried out in North Devon.
