Max Robinson, a 19-year-old trainee auctioneer at CCM Skipton, was named Northern Area Young Stockman of the Year following his recent success at the Clitheroe Auction Mart. Max Robinson, a 19-year-old trainee auctioneer at CCM Skipton, has been named Northern Area Young Stockman of the Year, adding to a string of recent stock judging successes. Mr Robinson has also secured the Yorkshire County Young Stockman of the Year title for two years running. Raised in Tunstall, between Richmond and Bedale, Mr Robinson grew up on a multi-generational farm and knew from an early age that he wanted to become an auctioneer. He is now studying part-time at Harper Adams for the Livestock Auctioneers Association (LAA) qualification, alongside an AAT accountancy course.
