Rs 3 Lakh Sanctioned from CM’s Relief Fund to Family of Fatimath NishanaPuttur: The Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund has sanctioned an assistance of Rs 3 lakh to the family of Fatimath Nishana, a resident of Sarepuni in Kedambady village, who died under suspicious circumstances at her husband’s residence on July 18. Nishana is survived by a three-year-old child, intensifying the hardship suffered by her family after the incident. On Thursday, MLA Ashok Rai met Deputy Chief Minister D.K. During the meeting, Rai informed the Deputy Chief Minister that the family belongs to an economically weaker background and is struggling to cope with the loss. Responding to the request, the Chief Minister approved the release of Rs 3 lakh from the relief fund.
