Danielle McElroy now relies on a wheelchair, is largely confined to bed as she cannot wash, dress or move herself without help.
Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue similar to the womb lining grows elsewhere in the body, causing chronic pain.
Ms McElroy has been diagnosed with the condition for 10 years and previously underwent surgery but has been told the condition has now worsened.
What began in March with pain and numbness in her legs progressed within weeks from a walking stick to a wheelchair.
“The South Eastern Trust Gynaecology Team is working with the Region to improve access to Endometriosis Services.
