Hyderabad: The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) on Wednesday launched a month-long statewide cyber safety awareness campaign titled ‘Suraksha Ka Tiranga – Cyber Swatantra Dishaga Telangana’, aimed at promoting safe digital practices and protecting citizens from the rising threat of cyber frauds. The objective is to encourage citizens to stay vigilant against online fraud, adopt safe digital habits and actively participate in cybercrime prevention. 722 cyber awareness programmes conductedAs part of the launch, 722 cyber awareness programmes were conducted simultaneously across Telangana, reaching more than one lakh people. Educating citizens about digital scams and fraudWith stock trading and investment scams on the rise across the country, the campaign will place special emphasis on educating people about such frauds. It will also focus on emerging cyber threats, including ‘digital arrest’ scams and other evolving online crimes.
