Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has initiated an internal inquiry following reports that some private junior colleges allegedly submitted fake Fire No Objection Certificates (Fire NOCs) while applying for affiliation. Colleges found violating norms to face actionThe Board said the matter is under examination and that an internal inquiry has been launched to verify the authenticity of the Fire NOCs submitted by the institutions. It warned that any college found to have misled the Board or violated affiliation norms would face strict action in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations after the inquiry is completed. It added that institutions found to be functioning without valid affiliation or violating prescribed norms would face stringent action under the existing legal provisions. It advised the public to rely only on official communications issued by TGBIE and information available on its official website.
