A federal judge earlier this week rejected plans to resolve the bankruptcy filed both by attorneys representing clergy sex abuse victims and the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Both sides have been ordered back to mediation. Attorney Jonathan Schochor represents the victims. The judge has scheduled another hearing for Sept. 30, which marks three years since the archdiocese declared bankruptcy. “We were in negotiation with other insurance carriers, but all of that is contingent upon getting a settlement of all,” Schochor said.
