Resurfacing on the southbound carriageway was due to take place from 8pm on Friday, August 7, until 6am on Monday, August 10. The work will now be undertaken from 8pm on Friday, August 14 until 6am Monday, August 17. Motorway traffic travelling southbound will be diverted to A82 Great Western Road eastbound, joining the M8 at Junction 17 westbound on slip from West Graham St and continuing M8 to Junction 30 where diversion ends. Emergency service access will be maintained throughout the project in coordination with relevant authorities. All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Monday, August 17, providing works are completed on schedule.
