A change of use of an existing industrial unit at the Denis Ferranti Meters site has been agreed with conditions by Cyngor Gwynedd planners. The famous Ferranti site at the Bryn Llwyd works, had operated at the heart of the city for 71 years, originally starting out in 1951 until it closed in 2022. After it was sold to the Bearmont Group, the industrial site underwent a major revival and refurbishment programme and was renamed Parc Bryn Llwyd. Planners agreed to a change of use of an existing industrial unit to a unit providing a car washing service and a valeting service at the Denis Ferranti Meters site on Caernarfon Road.
